Wendy Ahlm (formerly Wendy Creel) grew up in a small town north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has wanted to be an artist for as long as she can remember.
Wendy received a BFA in printmaking and painting from Carnegie Mellon University. She moved to New Mexico in 1997 and fell in love with the big sky, never-ending views and spectacular sunsets. She paints in oil, pastel and watercolor, specializing in southwest landscapes painted “en plein air.” Her work is included in many private collections.
